|
|
Hi everyone!
This is my first post so firstly I want to say hello to all TC:E players and apologize to you for my not perfect english.
We have run a couple days ago TC:E server (ET 2.60b + TC:E 0.49b) and we met some problems. There's a guy from France who comes to our server and plays with cheats - pbscreens are clear, but when I watched him from spectator, I saw too many weird situations, that cannot happened without cheats. So I banned him with pb_sv_ban command, but he came back in a few seconds with new nickname and new GUID - only IP address was the same. The problem is, that when he comes back, server always get crash. The only information from console was "Received signal 11, exiting...".
I cut his subnet mask on firewall, but it's not the best solution. I heard that TC:E server can be crash with /team command (plus some values after). Is there any possibility to protect server from this type of exploit?
Thanks in advance!

I have already sent an e-mail to Diane. Does anyone of you know the answer to my first question? _________________

i just remembered that there was this qmm plugin called dutchfix. it prevents servercrashes and some other things.

but i dont really know how to install it anymore (long time ago since i did it), but i think the documentation&installation should be enough _________________ =MaveXII=|WL Admin |IRC:#mave-clan

Thanks SnaKeS3K for your reply! I have already installed QMM and DutchFix 1.4 on our server - I hope this will solve the problem! _________________
